participate in a city lab
We are living in a unique time in our country’s history where there is much
division where people are in need of the hope of the gospel. It’s a great time for personal
development and to thoughtfully engage with the issues in front of us.
The City Lab is a ten week learning experience that equips you to become a more resilient disciple of Jesus in this cultural moment and aims to answer the following questions:
What is the story of God you are being invited into?
What is your story and how does that integrate into God's story?
How do you practice the Ways of Jesus in all of life?
How can you become an agent of gospel renewal in your spheres of influence?
Through self discovery, community and mentorship, you are invited to engage with
like-minded peers and learn together how to Live Into the Great Story.

what others are saying...
“The city lab is focused discipleship with an eye for young professionals. The theologically rich discussions paired with practical action steps and experiments were important in bringing about the transformation I needed in order to become more engaged in my community and workplace for Christ. The life on life mentoring style moved me forward in my desire to become more involved in the great commission in my city.”
Josiah, Los Angeles (27) |

"City Lab gave me a bigger heart for my city. I was also able to reflect on my Vietnamese American identity, see how my story is connected to the bigger story God is writing in my own community in Houston. It was eye opening to see how Jesus engaged as a peacemaker and how to seek out shalom in my own city."
Mimi, Houston (23)
international cohort in Edinburgh, Scotland

"City Lab was a great opportunity to establish a Biblical foundation of beliefs surrounding work and purpose, and provided me with a tangible set of tools and frameworks in which to pursue wholeness in my community and workplace." - Josiah
"City Lab opened up my eyes to my talents and passions that I didn't consider before, and has given me a look into the bigger picture for my life. I realize I am so young, and God still has so much in store for me."
- Rebekah
"I feel empowered and equipped to continue on my faith journey. This was like a pit stop w/ energy drinks and gels when you run a long race! Very restful and rejuvenating. If you’re doing a masters/continuing education and feel like this won’t be applicable because you’re not working full time yet, think again!" - Kenna
